Kern County Fire Station Tour

Registration window January 16, 10:00 a.m. -January 22, 7:00 p.m.

Get ready for an exciting field trip to our local fire station! This visit will give you a firsthand look at how firefighters work and the important role they play in our community. As we explore, we'll also think about how the traits and skills of firefighters relate to survival and adaptation. We will see fire trucks, equipment, and fire fighting gear.

There are two time slots to choose from.

• 9:00-9:45
• 9:45-10:30

Choose the ticket with the time slot that works best for your family.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Please check in outside of the fire station with Regan Thompson 5-10 minutes before your tour.

Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? Students must be in TK-12th grade to attend. Younger siblings are not allowed due to limited space. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud.

Is there on-site parking available? Parking is available at Frutivale Norris Park just north of the station.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? No.
