This group will meet on the following Tuesdays:

Meditations on the Tarot by Valentin Tomberg is widely considered one of the most profound books ever written (e.g. by Bede Griffiths, Thomas Keating, etc). Join Fr. Michael Holleran for a year-long journey into Christian Hermeticism (the subtitle of the book), as fascinating as it is challenging.
Come and discover how the foundational truths of the spiritual life come alive in this dazzling volume.
Widely considered one of the greatest Catholic theologians of the twentieth century, the Swiss-born Hans Urs von Balthasar, who wrote the afterword to the latest edition of this book, was nominated by Pope John Paul II as a cardinal in 1988. In his afterword, von Balthasar praises the book for its profound spiritual insights and its attempt to integrate esoteric Christian traditions with mainstream Christian thought.
We envision our evening Zoom session will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET, on Tuesday evenings and will run about 1 1/2 hours with the agenda as follows:
This is very similar to other Zoom groups Fr. Michael has done.
Fr. Michael K. Holleran is a Catholic priest, Zen Master (Roshi), and former Carthusian monk. He was a Jesuit for five years, then a Carthusian for 22 years in the U.S., France, and England, and a priest of the Archdiocese of New York for 30 years (now retired). He is a member of the White Plum Asanga through his mentor, Fr. Robert Kennedy S.J., and has studied Kabbalah and Arhatic Yoga with Master Choa Kok Sui.
Fr. Michael is an authority on this topic, and has been featured in Lawrence Pintak’s recent book entitled: Lessons from the Mountaintop: Ten Modern Mystics and Their Extraordinary Lives.
Based on feedback, we are currently contemplating adding an additional, optional 30-minute period of silence prior to the start of the group for those who would like to begin that way.
