Goblin City is a MegaGame where everyone is a goblin that is trying to accomplish their own tribe's zany goals while also surviving ever other goblin's shenanigans as they all build and grow their city together.

Goblin City is also a legacy game. At the end of each game, each team will be able pass some of their legacy to help next year's team for the 2027 running of Goblin City.

How does this game work?

Goblin City is played in a series of rounds that last 45 minutes in real life but represent a year in game. During a round players can roam around the room to talk to each other, scheme, gathering resources, trade, deal with complications, and gather enough friends to attempt their big action for the round. Many things are possible with the "free form" style of action resolution, you just have to find enough friends to help you and gather enough assets to do your big action.

A copy of the rulebook will be emailed to ticket holders a month before the event.

What is a MegaGame?

A MegaGame is a large scale game that can take between 20-50 people about 6-8 hours to play through a scenario. Each player plays a single character or role and have their own personal and team goal they try to accomplish during the session. The rules for the game are relatively simple because the "complexity" of the game comes from players having to interact with so many other players who might have conflicting interest. It's the involved social aspect that makes a MegaGame both challenging and incredibly rewarding to play.
