OKC/Edmond NPLS - Steffanie Bonner - August 18th

Steffanie Bonner has spent nearly 30 years helping nonprofit organizations strengthen their leadership, sharpen their strategy, and build boards that actually work the way boards are meant to work. A consultant, facilitator, and governance strategist, she is known for translating complex governance concepts into practical, human-centered tools that nonprofit leaders can use immediately.

Her approach is grounded in deep, real-world experience. Steffanie is a CFRE® and BoardSource-certified governance consultant and previously served as the founding executive director of the TTCU Cares Foundation. Before that, she led major development strategy and two capital campaigns as Vice President of Resource Development at the Tulsa Regional Chamber. Her career spans capital campaigns, organizational development, and long-range revenue strategy — giving her a comprehensive view of how board behavior shapes organizational outcomes.

Steffanie was recognized as the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the AFP Eastern Oklahoma Chapter and later served as the chapter’s board president. Her work with dozens of boards has given her a front-row seat to the patterns, personalities, and archetypes that show up in every boardroom — and she helps leaders work with those dynamics instead of fighting them.

A Tulsa native and graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Steffanie lives in Tulsa with her husband, David, and their daughter.
