Heart 2 Heart Park Day and Board Games-Heartland Charter School

Heart 2 Heart fosters friendships between students with and without disabilities through shared adventures on field trips, creating an inclusive environment where all students can connect and grow together.

These Heart2Heart experiences build understanding and lasting bonds that extend beyond the classroom, leaving a positive impact on everyone involved.

Join us for a board game park day! Play at the park, kick a ball around, ride your skateboard or scooter, or play board games, all while making new friends.

HST Jenny will bring board games. Feel free to bring balls, scooters, skateboards, sand toys, or anything else that’s fun to share with new friends at the park.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Please check in with Ms. Jenny at the lower park in the picnic area. She will be wearing a Heartland hat and lanyard.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud

Is there on-site parking available? The park has multiple, free parking lots.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Yes, feel free to bring snacks or a picnic lunch.
