November Tour and Learn Workshop
Saturday, November 13, 2021
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
6220 Southwest Martin Highway, Palm City, FL, USA
This two part workshop begins with a general tour of the farm grounds for those who are interested in visiting the farm; then morphs into a detailed “Q&A” for EXISTING home gardeners who are seeking advice about their organic gardens. ALL of our information is based on gardening that uses strict organic practices. Topics will include seed starting, planting, plant division, fertilization, pest and fungal control, plant staking, frost protection, and more! Home gardeners are welcome to bring plant samples and/or photos of damages so that we can help you figure out what issues you may be having and how to solve them. This workshop is intended for adults, but well behaved and engaged children/teens are welcome to attend. Advance registration is required no later than Friday, November 12th at 10:30AM. Those in attendance also have the opportunity to shop for retail gardening items and produce after the workshop. Please note that this is NOT an overall “How To Garden” class for new people who are contemplating a garden. We will hold another Intro to Organic Food Gardening Workshop in January of 2022.
REALLY SERIOUS: Do your part to prevent the continued spread of Covid-19. Masks are required regardless of your vaccine status. Do not register for this class if you are unwilling to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth. There is no good way to social distance during this event, so masks are required. PERIOD.
