For the month of March, we will focus on Crow Pose (Bakasana). Specifically, why practicing Chaturanga Dandasana isn’t this best way to train & prep for Crow Pose. If you want to finally get your Crow to leave the nest, or are looking for improve your Crow, then this is the class for you! I will teach you the alignment, form & technique for the pose, as well as strength building drills that go beyond your typical Yoga class, with a focus on my favorite: Crow Push-ups. We will also stretch & mobilize the wrists, shoulders, hips & hamstrings, as well as work on core engagement. Once our Crows are flying high, we will explore some fun & tricky transitions in & out of the pose.
This unique & dynamic 75-minute class will focus on core-centric calisthenics, proper alignment, smooth transitions & increased body awareness. This practice will improve strength, mobility, agility, speed, power, balance, recovery, confidence & cardiovascular health, all in a supportive, community setting.
This playful & engaging practice is designed to compliment your yoga practice and/or fitness regimen for a healthier, kinder, more capable, confident, enjoyable & harmonious journey in your body.
