We will look at some of the latest tools and techniques in risk scoring Company Watch has developed and deployed with the help of our banking & insurance clients. How do we use unstructured data, as well as structured data to help predict the impact of ‘shocks’ and ‘stresses’. We will look at tools that provide customers with the ability to understand which risks are ‘shock’ resilient. We will look retrospectively at how these tools have managed risks retrospectively and help identify key risks such as Carillion Plc.

 Craig Evans, Head of New Business – Company Watch

 Craig has been involved in the Business Information & Analytics Market for over 30 years and has worked for some of the leading players including Company Watch, Graydon, Equifax, Infocheck & ICC.

 His career started as a credit analyst with ICC and then Infocheck, helping develop some of the early risk analytical scoring models before moving into a commercial role.

Craig joined Graydon UK’s commercial team in 1998 where he remained for 25years culminating as UK Country Director. Craig was instrumental in creating Graydon’s pioneering strategy for industry-specific credit information, data intelligence and commercial fraud offerings using early crowdsourcing and consortium-based models, working with key credit professionals from within these markets.

Now as Company Watch, as Head of New Business, his primary focus is on delivering growth for financial analytics, data modelling, scoring, and data intelligence for risk management. Having worked with a number of high-profile clients across a wide spectrum of industries and territories, Craig understands the challenges that Company Watch customers are facing regarding managing growth & risk.

 Craig is also a member of the CICM and a regular guest conference speaker.
