2024 Zikr Dance Ensemble: INVOCATION (Highlands Ranch)

In celebration of the company's 15th anniversary season, entitled Invocation, Denver’s nationally acclaimed Zikr Dance Ensemble is excited to showcase some of the company’s signature works and audience favorites:

Called a masterpiece by critics, “Runes” explores the ancient runic alphabets native to northern European peoples using runes as a form of divination.

“Parallel & Elevated” is a beautiful, acrobatic and atmospheric interaction between two beings, one on the physical plane and the other in a different dimension.

“In Your Eyes” is Zikr's signature work. Set to the famous song by Peter Gabriel, our interpretation has left audiences breathless, exhilarated and uplifted.

Invocation also will include “Ripples in the Sand,” artistic director David Taylor’s most recent, stunning creation, set to the mesmerizing music of Hans Zimmer.
