Fire Flow: Advanced Practice Workshop

Unpopular opinion: In the quest to make yoga more welcoming to beginner practitioners, classes for advanced practitioners are now harder to find. And while yoga should be inclusive of beginner yogis, “All Levels” classes often leave out more advanced practitioners. Just like Foundational Yoga classes are important to create a welcoming environment, so are Advanced Yoga classes. Which is why I’ve created, Fire Flow: Advanced Practice Workshop.

This class is an inviting challenge for anyone seeking to elevate & deepen their practice, by amping up intensity, complexity, creativity & technique. We won’t just speed through the more advanced shapes so as not to make beginners feel left out, as often happens in All Levels classes. Instead, we will take the time to explore adaptable & intricate techniques that sharpen poise, precision, balance, coordination & mental focus. Along this path, you’ll encounter a blend of strength-building exercises, dynamic sequencing & fluid transitions that make advanced poses more accessible & the transitions in/out of them more seamless.

Fire Flow is a chance to stretch personal limits, enrich personal growth & discover untapped reservoirs of energy, strength & resilience. Mindfulness, curiosity, playfulness & kindness are all key to navigating this invigorating & demanding practice in loving community.
