2026 Education Symposium

Black Alabamians for Education (BA4E) is proud to invite you to join us for our 2026 Educational Symposium in historic Selma, Alabama—a gathering dedicated to equipping families, community leaders, and education stakeholders with the information and tools needed to strengthen educational opportunity across our state.

As Alabama enters an important election year, this year’s symposium will place a special focus on the power of civic engagement and the role voting plays in shaping the future of our schools and communities. This convening will help families better understand how their voices—and their votes—can influence the educational landscape for generations to come.
