You and a guest are invited to an exclusive donor appreciation party in our new office space!

The event will be a progressive vegan wine and cheese event with different pairings at each location. (Please note that there will be non-alcoholic wine choices available at each pairing).

It will take place from 1 to 3:30pm starting in our main office at 34 13th Avenue South, Suite 108, followed by a stop in our new storage room/second space, and finishing two and a half blocks away at 1317 Marshall St NE, with a presentation at 2:30pm (live and virtual). The talk will also be recorded for those who can’t attend.

Full details are below.

Please accept or decline this invitation here. If you can’t make it, you can also request that we send a thank you card to your home!

Event overview:

  • We’ll start in our main office at 34 13th Avenue NE, Suite 108; enter from the south side of the building (with the parking lot); our office is down the hall past the chiropractic office.
  • You’ll be welcomed by board members for your first wine and cheese pairing.
  • You’ll be invited to share thoughts about our work.
  • Those who can climb stairs will have the opportunity to tour our second floor space.
  • Everyone can visit our storage room for a second wine and cheese pairing. You'll be greeted by additional board members.
  • At 2pm the office and storage room at 13th Avenue NE will close and guests will walk or drive two blocks to the Twin Ignition Building at 1317 Marshall St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413  where they’ll be greeted by board members for the third vegan wine and cheese pairing, as well as other vegan snacks. (We request that only people with mobility restrictions drive, as parking on Marshall is limited.)
  • There will be an optional game to get to know other guests.
  • Laura Matanah, Executive Director, will give a short presentation on the change for animals your donations make possible at 2:30 p.m., for both in person and online guests.
  • You are welcome to dress up or come casual; board members will be in business casual or nicer attire. If you are a Circle of Care member who makes a monthly sustaining gift, please wear your CAA pin.

Free parking at the main office is available in our lot and at a lot across the street.

Gluten-free crackers and snacks will be an option at each stop. All stops on the tour are ADA accessible with the exception of the optional upstairs viewing.

Thank you for your generous giving that makes our work for animals possible!
