Join CREW Upstate for a tour of Inland Port Greer, an innovative new breed of rail-served inland port facility owned and operated by the South Carolina Ports Authority. It is a marine terminal 212 miles inland that gives unprecedented flexibility and control, which helps manufacturers running tight production lines and retailers in need of velocity and reliability in their supply chain.

Since this is a walking tour, please wear comfortable shoes. Safety vests will be provided by The Port, but no other PPE is needed.

Tour Speaker: Will Angelich, South Carolina State Ports Authority

Will Angelich, is the terminal manager at the South Carolina State Ports Authority’s inland port in Greer. The facility is serviced by rail and located 212 miles from the SCSPA headquarters in Charleston. The SCSPA boasts a $63.4 billion economic impact for the state. In this role, Angelich is the primary intermodal transportation contact for manufacturers in the Upstate such as BMW, Michelin, ZF Chassis Systems, Adidas, Dollar Tree, First Solar and TTi. He is responsible for budgeting, hiring, and coordinating cargo movement with ocean carriers and customers. Angelich began his career with the Ports Authority 15 years ago as a Container Handler Operator at the port’s Wando Terminal in Charleston. He is a graduate of USC Upstate and enjoys running and staying active in his free time.

• From SC Hwy 80, turn left on GSP Logistic Pkwy **your GPS will tell you to pass the GSP Logistics Pkwy entrance and route you with a U-turn
• Turn right onto International Commerce Blvd
• Arrive at Gate and provide name/company 

• From the gate, drive to the end of the terminal to the parking area
