CREW Upstate presents our 2020 Luncheon Series:  

THE YEAR OF THE DEAL

 Are you wondering what it takes to develop a property?  Get ready to LEARN the Real Estate Development Process in 2020 as each luncheon builds on the last.  You will not want to miss a single one!

 Our first luncheon will explore how developers IDENTIFY THEIR DEAL:  

• How do developers find the opportunity?
• How do they assess the feasibility?
• How do they determine if it’s a GO/ NO GO?
• What percentage of deals are declined?

Steve Navarro is President and CEO of The Furman Co. He oversees Furman’s three operating companies that specialize in Development, Investment Advisory Services, and Risk Management. Steve represents and advises corporate, institutional, and high net worth individuals. Steve was the Owner and President of CBRE | The Furman Co. In 2014, CBRE, Inc. acquired CBRE | The Furman Co. and Steve transitioned to focus solely on the development, investment and risk management businesses of Furman. 

Robert Poppleton serves as Development Manager for Furman Development. Robert’s responsibilities include the coordination of development activity from acquisition due diligence through to delivery for the division’s industrial, office, retail, and mixed-use projects. Before moving to Greenville in 2012, Robert worked in commercial real estate in both the private and public sectors.
