The Sofferman Perspective Trio

Drummer and composer Brooke Sofferman leads his inventive trio for an evening of invigorating Jazz at the Soular Jazz Series at First Parish Unitarian Universalist in Northborough. 

Brooke is innovative force on his instrument, leading his groups with original writing, sublime accompaniment and a unique improvisatory style. Sofferman does not seek to imitate, but to strike out on new paths, reflecting the times in which we live.

Joining Brooke is saxophonist Rick Stone and bassist Sean Farias.

Rick Stone is known for his fluid, expressive tone and organic, musical ideas that seem to flower from the bell of his saxophone in every musical arena that he enters.

Bassist Sean Farias rounds out the trio. Sean is a young, experienced and in-demand performer involved in a wide range of music, from Celtic, Folk, Pop/Rock and Jazz.
