Bakersfield Police Department Tour- Heartland Charter School

Registration window August 6, 10:00 a.m. -August 9, 7:00 p.m.

Come join us as we tour the first and second floor of the police department. If available, we may get to see a K9 demonstration. The tour is about an hour and if we add a demo it’s about 1 ½ hours. For grades K-3 only please.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration.

What are the check-in procedures? Please arrive at 9:45 am to check-in. Find Sarah Elliott, who will be wearing a Heartland t-shirt in front of the BPD station

Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? This field trip is aimed at students who are K-3rd grade. Only one chaperone per family due to limited space. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud.

Is there on-site parking available? Families need to find parking in the downtown area. Be careful not to park in any area marked as "No Parking"

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? No.
