PREMIERE SCREENINGS

GROUP "A"

Each year, Filmmakers from all over the Asheville, NC area compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours as part of the world-wide competition - the 48 Hour Film Project! The winning film from the Asheville 48HFP will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2023 (in Los Angeles!) for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 Short Film Corner!

Come out to the PREMIERE of the "Group A" short films, made by local filmmakers in less than 48 hours. Vote on your favorites, and meet some of the cast and crew. Food and Drinks available.

Asheville's films are split into two screening groups, Group "A" and "B". Be sure to get tickets for both groups to see all of the films! Scroll down OR click on the red tickets on the calendar to select other screenings. These are the films that will be shown on Thursday, Aug. 4th, at 5:30pm.
