Join us for a transformative weekend of hands-on learning and communal fun at the Lady 'Steaders weekend intensive event in the breathtaking Hocking Hills region of Ohio on October 26 and 27 sponsored by Heritage Skills USA. This event is specially for women who are passionate about homesteading and are eager to deepen their skills and knowledge in an inspiring and empowering environment.

You must purchase an admission ticket to attend classes. Class registration tickets are open now, more courses will be added throughout the summer.

Your receipt will serve as your admission ticket and class registration. Instructors will also have a roster of students who registered for their classes.

Experience a wide array of workshops and activities designed to help you master essential homesteading skills, from gardening and food preservation to livestock care and sustainable living practices. Connect with like-minded women who share your interests and passion for self-sufficiency, and forge lasting friendships and partnerships that will enrich your homesteading journey.

In addition to the main event, don't miss the Heritage Explorers hands-on day on October 25 for children aged 4-17, where young ones can learn valuable heritage skills and connect with nature in a fun and engaging way.

Tickets are transferrable, meaning you can sell them to anyone you wish if you are ultimately unable to attend. The terms of service still apply, regardless of who purchases, holds, or uses the ticket. Some of the classes are indoors and some are outside. Rain will not cancel the event - dress appropriately. In the case of lightening or other severe weather, only the indoor activities will continue, with as many outdoor activities moved indoors as possible. If the inclement weather passes before the end of the event, outdoor activities will resume as scheduled.

There are approximately 20 handicap parking spaces adjacent to the Fern Kruger Building. The grounds are at least fairly handicap accessible and stroller accessible. The rest rooms inside of the Fern Kruger Building are handicap accessible and have a baby changing area.
