"We Are All Criminals"
at Hamline University KLAS Center (1537 W Taylor Ave, St Paul, MN 55104) with keynote speaker Emily Baxter and St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter.
Come hear the stories of those who committed crimes, those who got away with them, and those who have been directly affected by the criminal justice system. Keynote by author and national speaker Emily Baxter of "We Are All Criminals". Discuss the policies and practices that can help end our decades of mass incarceration and criminalization of poverty.
Art by women who are incarcerated in Minnesota will be on display.

Emily Baxter, is the executive director and developer of the non-profit We Are All Criminals (WAAC). Emily Baxter is also the author of “We Are All Criminals”, a book with compelling photographs and first-person narratives to provide a look at how the policies and prejudices of the past and present are bankrupting our nation. Emily Baxter has served on the boards of the Minnesota Second Chance Coalition and the Minnesota Community Corrections Association.
