Cantamos! Voices from Around the World

The San Antonio Choral Society will treat the audience to a variety of folk songs from various countries and regions. Journey with us as we bring to life music of the "llanos" or high plains of Venezuela, the pipes calling from the glens of Ireland, the "yoiking" chant tradition of Norway, freedom songs of South Africa, the exhilarating Hindi barhat, and the magnificent horses of Mongolia.

Guest artists Sherry Rubins and Martha Fabrique will be featured on percussion and Shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute), respectively.
