Join us for our first luncheon of 2023, the Year of Back to Business, as we discuss "The New Age of the Workplace, A CRE Perspective". We will start the luncheon with a presentation from Nichole Kelley, Member of the 2022 CREW Network Industry Research Committee of CREW Network's Research Paper - "COVID-19's Effects on Women, Two Years Later", followed by a panel discussion of the latest trends in design of the work place environment led by Cindy Benjamin of LS3P and our distinguished panelists and CREW Upstate members covering the CRE perspectives of architecture, broker relations, and interior design. We hope you are excited as we are to get back to business and we look forward to you joining us.

PART 1: Presentation on CREW Network's The White Paper
PRESENTER: Nichole Kelley
Nichole Kelley is a Director, Senior Lead Control Management Officer for Wells Fargo. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Nichole has been with Wells Fargo for 20 years. She has extensive experience in risk management, asset management, commercial real estate, finance, and insurance. Prior to becoming a Senior Lead Control Management Officer, Nichole’s previous positions at Wells Fargo include Asset Manager, Credit Analyst, Payoff Analyst, and Insurance Analyst.
As Senior Lead Control Management Officer, Nichole manages the implementation of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program by leading the strategy, implementation, and tool design for promoting consistency, efficiency, and sustainability of processes to meet regulatory and Enterprise requirements domestically and internationally. She is responsible for the effective governance, design, execution, and operation of risk type programs across Commercial Real Estate (CRE), which consists of approximately $830B in assets and $465B in loans. She is currently the interim Control Leader for the Commercial Servicing platform, the largest commercial servicer in the world. She is directly responsible for the oversight and management of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and procedures.

Cindy is a proactive problem solver at heart. Named Principal in 2015, her architectural experience crosses market sectors of corporate office, educational spaces, labs, advanced manufacturing and student housing. Her specialty is organizing client’s complex needs and technical requirements into high functioning places people want to be. She has a special fondness for renovation work. Cindy also served as the Office Financial Manger within her office for 8 years. Currently she is the Workplace Sector Leader in the Upstate Market for LS3P.
Cindy is active in her community as well. She is an active member of the Upstate Chapter of ULI (Urban Land Institute) and is currently serving as President of the Greenville Professional Women’s Forum.
