Birding for Science


Wednesday May 22nd 2019 1:00 pm –  3:00 pm

Description: Join former homeschooling parent Ginger Langdon-Lassagne for a Middle school science course focused on contributing to citizen science appropriate for ages 10-14. We will identify the birds and other nature we observe, learn to use binoculars, take field notes, and explore the use of eBird and iNaturalist to report our findings during our 1⁄2 mile walk on the paved trail at McClellan (wheelchair/stroller friendly).

Notes: Students must be accompanied by an adult, other ages welcome, space limited to 12 students. Contact binzer@me.com with questions.
