Join the Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa Alumnae Panhellenic Chapters as we come together to celebrate women, empowerment, friendship and embrace sorority life.
Our guest speaker will be Melanie Griffin. Melanie is a Delta Zeta Alumna from Florida State University. She is the Tampa Office Managing Shareholder of the Dean Mead Law Firm where she champions commercial litigation, intellectual property, and labor and employment issues for businesses and trust and probate litigation and agribusiness needs of prominent Florida families. She founded Dean Mead's office that she now leads in 2014, and in 2015, was elected Equity Shareholder. Hear leadership led to recognition as Florida's Most Productive Young Lawyer (2009), Super Lawyer's Rising Star (Business Litigation 2010-2018), Florida Trend Legal Elite (Up & Comer 2010-2014, Commercial Litigation 2014-2018), Best Lawyer in America (Commercial Litigation 2017-2018), Tampa Bay Metro Inspiring Woman in Business (2016-2017), TBBJ BusinessWoman of the Year Legal Services Finalist (2016), FSU Notable Nole (2016), and FSU College of Business Recent Alumni Achievement Award Winner (2017). Law year, Melanie was appointed by the Governor to the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transit Authority (TBARTA), where she serves a Policy Committee Chair. Above all, Melanie's passion is mentoring, and in 2017, she founded Spread Your Sunshine to empower women with the confidence to break the glass ceiling and achieve their dreams. Her success effecting positive change was celebrated through hre receipt of the 2016 TBBJ BusinesWoman of the Year Angie's Award, 2017 GSWCF Woman of Promise Award, 2017 FSU Inspire Aware and 2018 Florida Bar YLD Outstanding Woman Lawyer of Achievement Aware. Melanie's mission is energizing others to spread their sunshine, allowing all to find joy and grow the best in themselves.
Lunch will be served family style. Each table will get platters of the Brio Chopped Salad and Cesar Salad; Pasta Alla Vodka, Chicken Marsala and Grilled Salmon. Sides of Crispy Fingerling Potatoes and Roasted Vegetables will be served. Desert will be Tiramisu and Chocolate Cake. Iced tea, coffee and soft drinks will be made available and guests will also have the opportunity to purchase adult beverages at the cash bar.
The luncheon will be in the upstairs ballroom, with easy-access to the elevator in the front lobby.
