This workshop will be led by Maria Lampos, long-time friend of the Caromont farmily. She hails from the Michoacán region of Mexico and is the matriarch (and head chef) for her growing brood of children, grandchildren, and Cville community. She will be teaching us a few dishes that are near and dear to her heart. We will learn how to make tortillas from scratch (something Maria does every single day!) and assemble enchiladas, tamales, salsas and garnishes.
