Participate in interactive sessions with local experts to learn the principles of and engage in hands-on experiments with renewable energy conversion and storage devices like solar cells, supercapacitors, lithium-ion batteries, and fuel cells.
Visit local corporations such as 3M and Medtronic.
Work with team members to collaboratively design, fabricate, and test energy conversion and storage devices as well as analyze and present experimental results.
Space is limited to 20 campers. Please register early!
Camp fees: $598.00
Deposits are non-refundable.
Registration ends June 21, 2019.
Cost includes lunch each day, activities, and all materials. Please note: this camp is during 9 am to 5 pm only and there is currently no option to stay on campus.
$50 nonrefundable deposit is required of those who wish to be considered for a scholarship and $200 nonrefundable deposit is required for all other registrants.
To apply for a scholarship, please pay the $50.00 deposit and submit an essay about why the camp is important to you and how the scholarship helps your participation (500 to 1000 words) to Lifeng Dong at ldong03@hamline.edu no later than June 21.
