Leap into Leadership 2016

Event Description

The ninth annual Leap into Leadership will be held on February 25th & 26th, 2016 in Cheyenne!

Award winning journalist and author Brigid Schulte will be the keynote speaker. Schulte is the founding director of The Good Life Initiative at the New America Foundation, a former award-winning journalist for the Washington Post and the author of Overwhelmed. Her book has been heralded as “both a map of the stresses that have ripped our leisure to shreds and a blueprint for how to put the pieces back together. What Brigid Schulte offers us is a revelatory, at times hilarious, and at heart optimistic view of how we can begin to find time for the things that matter most and live more fulfilled lives.”

Leap Into Leadership is hosted by the Wyoming Women’s Legislative Caucus, a project of The Equipoise Fund, in partnership with the Wyoming Women’s Foundation. The nonpartisan Wyoming Women’s Legislative Caucus promotes women in the Wyoming legislature through support and leadership development.k
