SCVAS Field Trip: The History and Birds of Coyote Creek

Directions: From Hwy 101, exit east on Cochrane, turn left on Malaguerra Ave and continue into Anderson Lake County Park, with parking lots (free) on the left. Meet in front of the Visitor Center.

Highlights: Join Eve and Santa Clara County Park docent, Mike, as we look for spring migrants and learn about Anderson Dam, the Klinke Barn, and Charles “Bird Man” Kellogg.

Difficulty: 2 miles paved bike path.

Notes: Limited to 12 participants.

For all trips: Beginners welcome. Heavy rain cancels. Carpool if possible. Bring binoculars. No unaccompanied minors.
