Directions: SCVWD is located at 5700 Almaden Expwy, San Jose. From Hwy 85, take the Almaden Expwy Exit south. Continue south on Almaden Expwy. At the first light after crossing Blossom Hill, turn left onto Via Monte Dr to enter the SCVWD parking lot. Park in visitor parking or other unmarked parking, meet in front of the main building towards the north end of the lot.
Highlights: We'll bird the pond, if it is full, and Guadalupe River in search of ducks, wading birds, and song birds.
Difficulty: 1-2 miles easy walking.
Notes: Beginners welcome! Rain cancels, no facilities, kids ages 10+ are welcome
