Do you feel like you are in the “Upsidedown” from Stranger Things? So much has happened since we could last be together in person that it’s hard to know where to start. One thing is for certain, as we continue to serve the public, we need each other now more than ever. Many of us are working from home where it is easy to get isolated. We continue to figure out how to serve the public with changing resources, competition for labor and general uncertainty about how we will incorporate Covid into our daily lives.

Join us for a chance to reconnect, rejuvenate and refresh as we look at the effects of the last two years and how we move forward more invigorated and united in our support for each other and public service.

Dear WIPS Attendees:

We are excited to welcome you to Hamline's Campus on Friday November 18th for the Women in Public Service Conference. This year, the entire conference will be held in the Anderson Center (corner of Snelling and Englewood). A campus map can be found here. You can park in the Anderson Center ramp for $1/hour or on the local streets. Spaces in the ramp are limited so we encourage carpooling. Campus is also easily reached by public transit. The A line bus runs on Snelling right in front of Hamline University and the Green Line light rail stops at Snelling and University Ave. Please plan to arrive in time for the program to begin at 8am.

7:30am Registration and light breakfast--1st Floor Anderson Center

8:00am Program begins

11:30am Lunch Served

12:30pm Afternoon sessions begin
