Be a part of the movement towards a more equitable birthing world! 

Join Sonoma County Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health, Sutter Health, First Five of Sonoma County, Sonoma County NAACP and Mother's Care for a screening of the award winning film Birthing Justice (, followed by a panel discussion on the experiences of Black birthing people. This event will be held at The Backdrop on Thursday Apr 11, 2024 at 4:30. 

Following the screening, we will host a panel discussion of experts with both professional and lived experience in the field. This event is a unique opportunity to highlight the experiences of Black birthing families, and affirm the need for birthing justice.

Hospital and clinic providers, administrators, and healthcare workers who care for pregnant and birthing people in Sonoma County are highly encouraged to attend this momentous event. Come and be part of a community that believes in promoting inclusive and compassionate birthing experiences for all.

Seating is limited. We encourage you to arrive early to secure your seat. Dinner will be provided. A nursing/pumping room will be available. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and advocate for birthing justice!
