Field Trip: Shoreline Riparian to Baylands

Leader: Ralph Schardt, (408) 624-7845. 

Directions: From Hwy 101 take Shoreline exit and head for the bay. Turn right on Crittenden Ln and continue to the end. Parking is available on the right in the nursery - look for Audubon Trip Leader to know where to park. Carpool if pos- sible. We will hike along a trail that is in the area next to Stevens Creek where it comes out to the bay. 

Highlights: Riparian birds as well as raptors and shoreline birds. 

Difficulty: Easy walk with places to stop on bridges over the creek for better access to birds and scoping. 

Notes: Bring binoculars and/or cameras. Rain cancels, Lunch optional
