Protecting Our Freedoms Sporting Clay Shoot

The Second Annual American Security Council Foundation (ASCF) Sporting Clay Classic is scheduled for Saturday, November 13th. The tournament is at the Vero Beach Clay Shooting Sports in Vero Beach, Florida. Our first one was a great event and the second one is going to be even more fun. For those that want to, you can arrive early on Friday afternoon and take advantage of all that the beautiful Vero Beach Clay Shooting Sports has to offer, including the five-stand for practice.

The competition will really heat up on Saturday when teams of 4 will compete in a 100-shot sporting clays tournament in a 14-station wooded course. New this year, we are going to add a flurry competition (all four shooters at the five stand with 20 clays being fired off at the same time), which is a real fun add-on, a poison bird stand (three clays fired off together and you can't hit the poison clay), a green bird station (shoot it and get a raffle ticket). After all the shooting is done, we are going to have a great BBQ lunch, a raffle and mini-auction, and then the prize ceremony.

Second, we need volunteers to help with the BBQ, the mini-auction, the raffle, drinks and snacks on the course, etc. So, all the non-shooting spouses, or anyone else who wants to make this a great and fun event.

Third, we need sponsors. We still need Gold Team sponsors, sponsors for the new events (the flurry, the poison bird, and the green bird) sponsors for the raffle and mini-auction items.
