The industrial real estate market is evolving and growing rapidly nationwide and the Upstate is a prime location for several reasons. Join us as we discuss the State of the Industrial Real Estate market and learn about trends, market drivers, and future projections at the national and regional from industry experts. Attendees will hear from the perspective of economic development as well as real estate market.

Our CREW Networking time will be from 11:30-11:45 with announcements, Sponsor recognition and lunch service starting at 11:45. Food choices are a Chef Salad OR Three cheese grilled cheese & tomato basil soup.

Kacie Jackson specializes in industrial sales and leasing in Cushman & Wakefield’s Greenville office. Kacie is a trusted and sought out partner to her clients and is well versed in all aspects of industrial real estate with a specialty in delivering integrated solutions to corporate occupiers and institutional landlords. Kacie has over 9 years of brokerage experience. Kacie has served as the National Account Manager for ScanSource since 2018 and has leveled Cushman’s global platform to complete transaction across the United States and Europe.

Lindsey Cannon is a Director with Quest Site Solutions (Quest) which provides site selection services and economic development consulting to companies and organizations worldwide. Before joining Quest, Lindsey was a Principal with McCallum Sweeney Consulting. With more than 15 years of experience in site selection and economic development, Lindsey assists companies in identifying, evaluating, and selecting the optimal location for their capital investment. She provides specialized skills and services to clients in the areas of detailed location evaluations including properties, infrastructure, transportation, labor and demographics, state and local taxes, and incentives.

Tavia CM Gaddy, is a Project Manager with the Greenville Area Development Corporation (GADC). Gaddy is responsible for marketing, recruiting and working with business prospects, both new and expanding, considering Greenville County. Since starting with GADC in 2005 Tavia has been involved in creating an announced 7,308 new jobs and over $731 million dollars of new capital investment into Greenville. She has assisted in the expansions and recruitment on behalf of Greenville County with recognizable names such as: Samsung, W.W. Grainger, AVX, Tower Automotive, Fitesa, Proterra and Esurance. Gaddy is the first African American to serve as economic development project manager on a community level in South Carolina’s history. Prior to joining GADC, Gaddy served as a Manager with the Community and Rural Development Division at the South Carolina Department of Commerce. In that role, she was responsible for improving the economic competitiveness of rural South Carolina She has also worked for the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, Wachovia Bank and Clear Channel Communications Inc.

Elizabeth Watson joined the Upstate SC Alliance in 2011 after 11 years with GSA Business. As director of research, she is responsible for directing and executing the organization’s research efforts as well as leveraging relationships and resources to position the organization as the go-to resource for information on the Upstate. Watson was an integral part of the Upstate’s partnership with the Global Cities Initiative, a joint partnership of the Brookings Institution and JPMorgan Chase, and served as project lead for the Regional Export Plan and Regional FDI Plan projects, both part of a multi-step planning process to develop a customized, comprehensive global engagement strategy for the Upstate region. Watson currently serves on the SC District Export Council, the World Affairs Council Upstate steering committee, and is an active member of the SC International Trade Coalition. Watson grew up in Spartanburg and graduated Cum Laude from the Honor’s College at the College of Charleston with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in English and French and a Minor in Arts Management. She lives in Spartanburg.
