Event Description
It is 1849 in the American West. The California Gold Rush is just beginning and The Duke, having recently come into his title by striking it rich in the mining trade, has his eye on the fair Miss Olivia.
But a shipwreck, just off the coast, brings Fate and a young woman named Viola into town. Deciding that travel in the untamed frontier is too dangerous, Viola disguises herself as a man and goes to work as the new Deputy to The Duke.
Can she help her new boss win the heart of Miss Olivia, or will her disguise land her in hot water?
