Innovation Camp 2022

High School Innovation Camp

This camp will introduce basic principles and best practices of the innovation process and provide the opportunity to develop and present an innovation plan.

Space is limited to 30 campers. Please register early.

At camp, you will:

• Learn ins and outs of the innovative process from accomplished innovators.
• Work with a team to develop, write, and present an innovation plan that focuses on market analysis, financial planning, risk management, design thinking, systems thinking, opportunity analysis, and intellectual property.

Camp details

Who: Students entering or in grades 9–12

When: July 11-15, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Where: Hamline University's Saint Paul campus

Cost: $598 per person. The cost includes 5 lunches, supplies, water bottle, and T-shirt.

Deposit: $50 nonrefundable deposit for those who wish to be considered for a scholarship and $200 nonrefundable deposit for all other registrants.

Scholarships: Scholarships are available based on financial need and are awarded on a first come, first served basis. We are a participant in the Summer Academic Enrichment Program, which will cover the full camp tuition for those who qualify.

To apply, take a few minutes to fill out this form and obtain the following two documents from a school official that (1) you are income eligible for free or reduced price lunches, and (2) you have either an overall “C” average or its equivalent for the most recently recorded academic term for the subject of Science. Then you will send the two documents to Dr. Lifeng Dong at ldong03@hamline.edu at your earliest time.
