Directions: From Hwy 280, take the Sand Hill West exit and travel approx. 2 mi. to the Jasper Ridge main gate (on the left), 100 yds. before Portola Rd. We will meet at the Sand Hill Rd entrance to the Preserve at 8:30 and enter as a group.
Highlights: Our first stop will be the historic and now-controversial Searsville Dam. While circumnavigating the lake, we will look for wintering waterfowl along with woodpeckers, raptors, and a variety of both resident and visiting songbirds.
