Directions: Take Hwy 130 east for ~11 miles form I-680; or take Quimby Rd east ~7 miles from Capitol Expwy. Meet at Grant Lake parking area on Mt. Hamilton Rd (Hwy 130) on the left (coming from San Jose) 0.25 miles past the main park entrance (on the right). Parking here is free but limited, and we'll do some car shuffling with the parking in the main park if necessary.
Highlights: We'll check out Grant Lake and other park locations for early migrants and resident birds.
Notes: Entry fee required ($6 or SC County Park pass) for main park area. Rain cancels
