Event Description

   Help make a difference by working with one of the following Fellowship Friday partners listed below. We encourage you to pre-register to help with the volunteer preparation process done by the venues.

   Even if you are unable to participate in one of the listed projects, you can still be part of Fellowship Friday by donating blood and/or bringing non-perishable food, sundries, and new, unwrapped toys to the breakfast, to be given to local organizations who service those in need.

   All projects will run approximately 2-3 hours. The Bloodmobile and food/toy donation drop-off will be available at Temple Emanu-El from 8:30-11:30 am.


ANN NORTON SCULPTURE GARDENS

Help with preparations for the annual Festival of Trees at this beautiful venue located in West Palm Beach near the Intracoastal, part of the former home of sculptor Ann Weaver Norton (1905-1982), who designed the Gardens.

BEACH CLEAN-UP

In partnership with Friends of Palm Beach, we will be working near Midtown Beach (exact location to be given at breakfast). Supplies will be provided.


BIG DOG RANCH RESCUE

Lend a hand at this no-kill dog rescue facility located in Wellington which provides shelter, care, and affection to homeless dogs of all breeds, and adopts them out into loving homes. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


CAPS OF LOVE

Help sort and box up plastic caps donated to this non-profit which purchases wheelchairs for kids from the funds generated by selling the material to recyclers. You are also invited to save and donate your plastic caps and lids.


LEVINE JEWISH RESIDENTIAL & FAMILY SERVICE

Work on a large painting for the renovated Activity Center (under the direction of Palm Beach artist Sandra Thompson) with the residents of this loving home for people with developmental and/or learning disabilities.


PAT REEVES VILLAGE

Paint and clean up a vacant apartment to prepare it for an incoming family at this emergency shelter for homeless families with dependent children. Paint and other supplies provided, but we welcome extra brushes, rollers, etc.
