Victory Riding Academy utilizes the healing power of horses to enrich the lives of active duty Military, Veterans, Police, Fire, First Responders and the families by providing horseback riding opportunities and horsemanship activities. We also provide therapeutic riding to children and adults with physical, behavioral, cognitive and emotional needs.

About Scott Helmer

Scott Helmer is an award-winning singer, songwriter, performer and Guinness World Records title holder for "Most Live Music Performances in 24 Hours (multiple cities)." He has opened for iconic acts like Heart, Eddie Money, 3 Doors Down, Jeff Bridges, Eric Burdon & The Animals. About the Charity

Victory Riding Academy (VRA) is a 501(c)(3) not-profit, community-based organization located in South Omaha and funded 100% by donations and grants; no one at VRA receives a salary or any compensation. Victory Riding Academy utilizes the healing power of horses to enrich the lives of active duty Military, Veterans, Police, Fire, First Responders and the families by providing horseback riding opportunities and horsemanship activities. We also provide therapeutic riding to children and adults with physical, behavioral, cognitive and emotional needs.

Victory Riding Academy plans to construct a much needed indoor Equine Therapeutic Riding Center that will allow for year round therapy sessions and dramatically increase the number of sessions VRA is able to offer. Currently we only have the capacity to offer up to eight equine therapy sessions per week, and are only able to offer these sessions for up to four months out of the year, from Spring to Fall, due to Nebraska’s unpredictable weather.
