Event Summary

Your digital data, resources, IP, and online reputation are more valuable than ever—and at greater risk than ever. Some cybersecurity threats and risks have been known for years, while others are emerging, enabled by new technologies, approaches, and vulnerabilities. Join us as renowned cybersecurity expert Robert "RSnake" Hansen presents some new and enhanced cyber threats as we enter 2024, including some you and your company/organization are probably not even thinking about yet. RSnake will also share challenges the business security industry faces in managing these risks but will conclude with recommendations for you and perspectives on how new technologies may help identify and protect against these new risks.

Robert Hansen (RSnake), American Computer Hacker, Executive, Entrepreneur, and Host, RSnake Podcast

Robert Hansen, also known as RSnake, is an American computer hacker, executive, and entrepreneur. He was the founder and CEO of SecTheory and was the co-founder of Bit Discovery after which he became the Deputy CTO of Tenable after Bit Discovery was acquired. He has previously worked at eBay, WhiteHat Security (now Synopsis), Realtor.com/Move.com, Cable & Wireless plc America, ValueClick and Silicon Alchemy. He founded the hackers.org web application security lab.

 

RSnake is most well known for his security research and disclosures such as Slowloris (computer security), Clickjacking, Fierce DNS enumeration tool, XSS filter evasion, DNS RebindingContent Security Policy, and Python NaN Injection.
