Mr. Judd will provide insight into the development of the land surrounding the airport and how the development influences the airport's operations. Meet our Speaker: Deven Judd, A.A.E., IAP
In November 2022, Mr. Judd became Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer for the Greenville Spartanburg Airport and has completed 24 years in the Aviation industry.
Mr. Judd is also serving his second term as a member of the Commercial Management Steering Committee of the Airports Council International - North America, a forum to share ideas and exchange information among fellow airport concessions and commercial properties professionals as well as to identify the best commercial practices at airports. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Airport Minority Advisory Council, Washington D.C.
Prior to joining the GSP, Mr. Judd was Director of Customer & Concessions Development at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority in Washington D.C. He also served as Acting VP for Marketing & Consumer Strategy, and as Manager, Leasing & Development while at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. During this time period, Mr. Judd was responsible for the development and implementation of the concessions program at both Reagan National and Dulles International Airports generating $283.5M in revenue.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Judd was Concessions Development Manager at Hartsfied-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where he managed business development initiatives for food & beverage, specialty retail, business & entertainment services, and car rental concession programs representing over $460M in sales annually and generating over $100M/year in non-aeronautical revenues for world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Mr. Judd has also been a Project Consultant at the consulting firm Jacobsen Daniels, in Ypsilanti, Michigan where he consulted on multiple airport projects including the completion of the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport Master Plan. Other projects included:
- 2010-2011 Strategic Management Plan, Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport.
- 2010 San Jose International Airport Consolidated Rental Car Facility Facilities Manager RFP.
- 2009 Hazard Mitigation Plan for Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
Prior to his consulting position at Jacobsen Daniels, Mr. Judd was employed at the Jacksonville Florida Aviation Authority where he served as Business Development/Properties Administrator and where he Implemented the Air IT/PROP works Lease Management Software (System managed 250-300 contracts).
Mr. Judd is a graduate of the University of North Florida, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program, and a graduate of Hampton University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations. He also completed the Airport Executive Leadership Program at Concordia University, John Molsen School of Business.
Mr. Judd lives with his wife and daughter in Greenville.
