Speaker bio:

Amy Galinko is a watercolor and collage artist deeply inspired by colors and patterns found in nature. In her artwork, Amy seeks to capture the powerful energy and light that she observes throughout the continuously changing seasons. She creates her watercolor collage illustrations by cutting or tearing paper from her practice watercolor paintings and recycling them into something new and beautiful. She draws inspiration for her collages from the wonder and awe through which her three young children experience the world. Amy lives in the Lower Hudson Valley Region of New York with her husband, children and flock of rebellious chickens.
