For those of you who have not been to the Legion, it is a few blocks North of the Hollywood/Highland complex on the West side of Highland. Award-winning nonprofit organization, Pin-Ups For Vets will be hosting its 8th Annual Calendar Release Fundraiser Party on Saturday, January 26, 2019. “Pin-Ups For Vets Presents: The Salute & Boogie” will be an evening of vintage entertainment, silent and live auctions. The proceeds from the event will go directly to benefit hospitalized Veterans and deployed U.S. troops around the globe. This vintage-themed party, open to the public and free for Veterans, will be held at historic American Legion Post 43 in Hollywood and will feature performances by "The Starlets." Inspired by iconic girl groups including The Ronettes, The Angels, The Shirelles, The Chordettes & The Supremes, The Starlets sing all your 50's and 60's favorites! Event hosted by Navy Veteran, Jennifer Marshall ( Stranger Things, Timeless & Hawii Five-0) & USAF Veteran BJ Lange. Dress to impress!
