Here's to Love, Fred Staton, Concert & CD Release Postponed:
Our Beautiful Fred Staton at 102 years young isn't feeling strong enough to play. Therefore we will be postponing this Saturday's Concert and CD Release to a date in September (TBA). “Here’s to Love” Jazz @ The Dwyer will present a Quintet starring Fred Staton, Saxophonist, the oldest working Jazz Musician in America at 102 Years Young. Christine Melton and her quintet will be doing songs from The Great American Songbook. We will also release the one and only CD of Fred Staton performing with his sister, the famed Dakota Staton. From this evening on, future generations will be able to enjoy the familial fusion of two jazz giants, each renowned as individual artists.
The Quintet are: Bertha Hope-Piano, Marcus McLaurine-Bass, George Gray-Drums, Fred Staton-Saxophone, Christine Melton-Vocals
