Join us for a webinar featuring Sam Erwin, IBERIABANK's Executive Vice President/Regional President - South Carolina, who will provide insight into how COVID-19 is reshaping banking and commercial lending.

Sam Erwin serves as Executive Vice President/Regional President – South Carolina for IBERIABANK. He joined IBERIABANK in late 2016 and was given the task of building out the Carolinas from scratch. Since that time, IBERIABANK entered the Greenville, Charlotte and Greensboro markets. On July 1,, 2020, IBERIABANK merged with First Horizon bank. Post-merger, Erwin leads the IBERIABANK and First Horizon teams in S.C., which includes banking centers in Greenville, Spartanburg, Columbia and Charleston. Previously, Erwin served as Chairman, President and CEO of The Palmetto Bank in Greenville, S.C. from 2009 until 2015. The Palmetto Bank was acquired by United Community Bank in 2015. Erwin served as a Regional President with United Community Bank until October 2016.

Erwin is a Greenwood County native and a cum laude graduate of Clemson University. He is involved in a wide variety of civic and professional organizations including serving on the Board of Directors for The South Carolina Bankers Association where he serves as its Immediate Past Chair, Greenville Tech Foundation where he serves as Immediate Past Chair, The Hollingsworth Funds where he serves as a Board Member and Secretary, and the Business Development Corporation of South Carolina where is a Board Member. He is a Liberty Fellowship graduate, Class of 2011 and currently serves on the Liberty Fellowship Board. He serves Clemson University through his participation on the Board of the Rutland Ethics Institute. Erwin and his wife reside in Greenville with their two sons. He enjoys traveling with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
