Directions: We will meet in the visitor parking lot at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. Take Hwy 101 to Bailey Rd and take Bailey West (right turn off of freeway), then left on Santa Teresa Blvd. Follow Santa Teresa Blvd to Palm Ave and turn right. This road ends at Coyote Valley OSP parking lot. 

Highlights: Golden Eagle, Bullock's Oriole, Rock Wren, Northern Flicker, Red-winged Blackbird, Loggerhead Shrike, White-tailed Kite, Peregrine Falcon, Lewis's Woodpecker, Bald Eagle, Prairie Falcon, Merlin, and Swifts. 

Difficulty: Hiking is easy to moderate. This trip is open to all levels of birding, including families and beginners.
