Tension and Pacing: Tools, Tips, and Keeping Kids Delighted

Tuesday, May 24, 2022

07:00 PM - 08:30 PM

Remote

This workshop will take on tension and pacing in picture books and novels for kids! We’ll discuss why these two things matter so much, and how they’re different from each other and yet work together, too. You’ll walk away with new tools and new ways of looking at the structure of your story.

This is an interactive workshop and will be limited to 40 attendees. It will take place over Zoom and will last 1.5 hours (from 7pm to 8:30pm ET).

Ms Boss will have a limited amount of critiques available for additional cost: full picture book manuscripts and 10 pages of a novel. See the "Critique + Ticket" option - this will purchase an event ticket plus a critique.

All participants will have a 3-month submission window with Ms. Boss.
