Joint Tactical Ground Systems (JTAGS) Product

Joint Tactical Ground Stations (JTAGS) are forward-deployed, echelon-above-corps, space ground systems that receive, process and disseminate direct down-linked infrared data from overhead sensors. They provide commanders with real-time warning, alerting and cueing information on ballistic missile launches.

Ongoing product improvements integrate JTAGS with the next-generation Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) satellites.

Four JTAGS are deployed worldwide as part of the U.S. Strategic Command’s Theater Event System.

U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command Soldiers operate JTAGS, providing 24/7 support to theater operations.

JOIN US IN HUNTSVILLE

We are hiring for hundreds of new jobs in the high-tech city of Huntsville, AL, where a new FBI campusis under construction at the Redstone Arsenal, a 38,000-acre federal research, development, testing and engineering center. We need contractors as well.

The FBI has had a presence at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, for more than 40 years, and today, more than 400 employees

are working there in various operational capacities. Huntsville presents the Bureau with new opportunities to build our capabilities,

create new partnerships, and further our mission. Known as the “Silicon Valley of the South,” the area also offers many amenities

and a lower cost of living. Huntsville continues to be named as one of the best places to work and live in the U.S.

Several FBI operations already have facilities at Redstone Arsenal,

including the Hazardous Devices School and the Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center.

It is also home to many other federal agencies and contractors, including various Army operations, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Missile and Space Intelligence Center, and more.
