Help Luke Fight Brain Cancer

Lukas was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was about 16 months old. He had a partial resection at 2 years of age and underwent 18 months of chemotherapy. For years his status was stable although he has suffered through terrible seizures and has been on many different anti-seizure medications. Last January a routine MRI showed that the tumor had rapidly grew back and Luke needed to have surgery immediately. His tumor was removed and it was a Pylomyxoid Astrocytoma graded 2 or 3.  They ended up staying at CHOP for 2 weeks and he had 2 surgeries done. He still has to get MRI's every 3 months as well as all of the surgical procedures he had done. He is going in for his 3rd surgery on June 15th, 2017. Lukas is an amazing kid with such spirit for all that he has been through in his short life, he loves legos and baseball more than anything else in the world and he just wants to make people laugh and smile! He has played baseball for Northfield Little League ever since he was 6 years old.  The Englert family have given a lot of their time volunteering and coaching Lukas's team and their older daughter Kamryn over the last 9 years.
