FAQ's:

1) Is this a conference- with main speakers and big group sessions or are there smaller breakout type environments?

~Both/and. We'll hear from each of the leaders and will also have opportunities to practice/apply what we hear with our partner, spouse, team members.

2) What is the content for the weekend?

Experience with your team…
How to better apply the Truefaced message of grace to key relationships and leadership.

How to more consistently read the Scriptures through a lens of grace.

Stories from leaders applying selected principles from the TF12 principles of grace (ex: "Living out of who God says I am is my only hope of becoming like Jesus" and "Repentance and forgiveness are not a means to fix my behavior. They are gifts of grace to heal my relationships.")

Interaction on your questions – How to embed these principles in your
relationships

Team tools for developing a high-trust, grace-based culture

3) Who is this for?

This is a MUST for Christian leaders especially. And, let's face it, we are all leading in one way or another.

It is an incredible opportunity for teams, staff members, and small groups -- any teams of two or more doing life/ministry/work together.

It's also amazing for parents and couples as well because what we learn to do in leadership outwardly is most often best practiced at home first.

So, pretty much everyone from mature teenagers and older.

4) Do they have a video that describes their approach/philosophy and shows what kinds of things they do at their experience?

The main launching point for most people is The Two Roads Talk by John Lynch (43 min) which you can find easily on YouTube's search window.

There are a TON of other videos that TF has put together (YouTube has a bunch), along with a weekly podcast and other resources. However, they don't have anything specific to this event itself on video. (I wish they did! *Hint dropped!*)

5) Can individuals/businesses sponsor this event to help teams of 2 or more attend?

YES! Please do consider sponsoring this as a local or even non-local business owner/operator. Your donation of $275+ will allow us to share your logo on our ticket site with recognition at the event itself, but more importantly will help us scholarship folks who want to attend, but need help with the cost.

6) Do you have to lodge at Epworth to attend?

No. The main event is Saturday, May 21 with optional events on Friday evening and Sunday morning. We partnered with Epworth for those who want to have the weekend to enjoy the Island and to experience a refreshing getaway.

7) How can I get the discounted rates?

Pastors/Ministry Leaders - please contact me for the 20% discount we want to offer to you to help you and your spouse attend. Consider the group discount below (10+ to get an even better discount when you bring your staff, key leaders, etc.)

For teams of 2+,  please contact me directly and I'll send you a registration form via email that you can use to collect monies and mail to us directly.

8) How can I get the deepest discount?

Gather a group of 10+ to get 50% per person in your group!  NOTE: This cannot be combined with other discounts.

9) If I want to pay by check to save the fee for using the registration link, is this possible?

YES. Please contact me to get the registration form which you can fill out and mail with your payment.

10) Is childcare provided?

Please contact Epworth by the Sea to find out if there are any activities scheduled for your child(ren)'s age(s) on Saturday, May 21. Epworth also has referrals for sitters on a limited basis, so contact them directly for more info, please.

I hope this helps, but if you still have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are looking forward to seeing you in May!

“Extraordinary. I received so much more out of this event because you had us come in groups. Choosing to let a close friend who knows me in during this time was powerful.”

—Kemp O. Winston Salem, NC

“I spent most of the three days with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes… to see the grace, trust, and love message lived out before us in the relationships between Bill, Bruce, and John was breathtaking.”

—Shirlee L. Oak Harbor, WA

“The Truefaced Intensive has given me new hope and passion for lifting the lens of moralism from the scriptures and instead seeing them through the lens of grace, knowing that God speaks with one voice!”

—Andy C. Seattle, WA

* All 4 TrueFaced Leaders are scheduled to appear, but this cannot be guaranteed due to any unforeseen circumstances that might prevent one or more of the guys being able to attend.
